The Mission

Spinal-cord injuries have various causes, including the uncommon illness, Transverse Myelitis. Whatever the cause, if it isn't fatal, the injury is usually devastating to the lives of the victim and the victim's circle of family and friends. While research has made progress in helping the victims, much more research is required in the areas of therapy, assisted living, and treatment technologies and techniques such as the use of stem cells. Basically, help is needed in whatever way it can be provided.
